| March 23, 2011

TC Press is getting ready for AERA and we have a great roster of authors signing this year.

Some highlights:

On Saturday 4/9 at 1:30 PM Barnett Berry and some of the Teacher 2030 team will be signing Teaching 2030: What We Must Do for Our Public Schools – Now and in The Future.  Later in the day at 4:00 Robert Lake will be joined by many of the contributors to his edited collection of letters to the luminary Maxine Greene, Dear Maxine: Letters from the Unfinished Conversation.  We end the day with the celebration of Deborah Meier’s latest book, Playing for Keeps:  Life and Learning on a Public School Playground.

Sunday afternoon from noon til 3 PM we have signings for a number of great new books in the area of bilingual education, English language learners, and language variation. Monday we end the conference with titles that look at the past and give hope for the future of education in America. Please check out the full list at:

Even if you can’t make our events, please come by booth #508 and say hello.  In addition to the several of us from marketing who will be there, a few Acquisitions Editors will be around to talk new projects and someone at the booth can always pass along cards and other information to them.

As TCP’s Publicist and I am always up for talking about review and promotion opportunities! If you want to schedule a meeting ahead of time please email rivero at tc dot edu.

If there’s anything you’d like to see from us at AERA, please comment and let us know.

See you in New Orleans!
